Procedures and Protocols

Research by Design respects the importance of time in undertaking clinical trials. Our in-house counsel quickly turns around contracts, regulatory and procedural documents. We maintain our facility for ready use with the pharmaceutical grade equipment, regular instrument calibration, and self-audit procedures. Our phase 1 unit is perfectly suited for overnight studies, with room to admit up to five patients at once, with appropriate locked storage for an investigational product, patient monitoring equipment with our primary goal of patient safety.

Staff members have 10-20 years clinical and research experience. To expedite the enrollment process, we have dedicated staff for patient pre-screening and our own database of patients who are interested in clinical research. We also have dedicated full-time study coordinators, research assistants and patient recruiters. Primary goals are both patient safety and the provision of data that is readily usable by sponsors and contract research organizations.

Patients

Once we are retained for a trial, our task is to enroll qualified patients. Our goal always is to quickly meet our enrollment goal and have achieved success in these efforts. We feel that the relationship between our investigators and their patients has been the key to accomplishing recruitment goals.

Our physician investigators work with us to provide information to their patients on our clinical trials. If a patient shows interest, we speak with him or her immediately to further discuss clinical trial participation and to answer any questions and concerns. Interested? ⇢
